Megan Anna Rapinoe, born in Redding California on 5 July 1985. As a teenager she started playing soccer. Rachael was her sister in fraternity. She went to the University of Portland with Rachael. Megan Rapinoe became a soccer superstar for the Portland State University becoming one of collegiate women's soccer's most prolific players. A knee injury caused Megan Rapinoe's absence for a portion of her junior and sophomore seasons. In her junior year and began playing soccer throughout the entire season. The 2013 season was the last time she played soccer in France. She joined Seattle Reign FC, now OL Reign in the National Women's Soccer League NWSL that had been formed following the breakup of WPS. Rapinoe was one of the top team scorers and eventually became coach of the club. In 2018, she was named cocaptain. Rapinoe scored two goals in the United States beat Australia 4-3 in the bronze medal match during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Japan had been prevented from attending to the Olympics until 2021 because of COVID-19, a pandemic.
